Pricing

My service fee includes an initial consultation, menu planning, grocery and farmers’ market shopping (in season), meal preparation and packaging, and kitchen clean-up. Because groceries are billed separately and represent the actual cost of food, you can choose to eat as extravagantly as you wish - sockeye salmon every day would make me happy, too! Or you can be more frugal - ingredients for vegetarian entrees, for example, usually won’t cost as much as entrees that contain meat or seafood.

Each entree includes one side.

A small fee ($5-15) will be added to each bill for pantry items such as olive oil, spices, dried herbs, flour, sugar, vinegars, wine, mustards, sea salt, and pepper.

A one-time container fee will be charged to set up you up with sturdy freezer-to-oven-friendly Pyrex containers that are yours to keep. We’ll talk about whether you want me to package dishes individually or family style. A disposable container fee will added to invoices for first-time or gift certificate clients, unless you prefer to invest in Pyrex containers right away.

It is very important that I seek out and buy your containers for you so that I can fit everything in your fridge and freezer.

I require a check to cover service, pantry and container fees, and a grocery deposit of $50-100 in advance of your cook date, depending on the plan you choose. After I cook, I’ll leave you with a statement that includes any grocery balance or deficit. The balance will be used toward your next cook date. If there is a deficit, you will be billed and the amount added to the invoice for your following cook date.

Service fees are for weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or occasional service. Plans can be customized to your needs, so contact me so we can talk about what would work for you!
